A.The session is SO chilled, with great music, coffee and company (if I say so myself). I take headshots by giving you something to think about. The thing I will make you think about is based off your casting (if you're getting actor headshots), outfit and hairstyle - which is why the preparation is so important. A few folks want headshots that are "them as a person" (which we love) so please bring clothes to reflect this, and let me know who you actually are as person. Other folks want headshots that really hint towards specific castings (which we also love). Usually an agent or tutor will tell you what to go for, but equally your friends and family can help you out. If you're getting portraits then we just have FUN, and it's absolutely a safe space to really go for it without any judgement.

A.You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 24 hours of your session. There is no limit on how long you take to choose your edits. It takes me up to 2 weeks to get your final retouched images back to you. There is an option to have your edits fast tracked for a fee (see the below section). PLEASE do not message me asking for an update if it is within the 2 week period - I promise you're on my editing list and I will ge them back to you.

A.Additional edits are £40 per image.
Fast-tracked edits are £15 per image.
An unedited shot is £15 per image.
The entire unedited gallery is £120.

A.This sounds so intense and serious but it is extremely important that you prepare in good time for your session and make decisions that are beneficial to your casting or you as a person, depending on if you're getting actor shots or not. If you have an agent you MUST tell them you are getting headshots/portraits and ask for what they need/want (as long as it aligns with what you want also). Although I always do my best to help and make things look great, I of course do not know you as a person nor do I know how your agent wants to market you, so you MUST make this clear to me beforehand and PREPARE for the session. I can not just make you "look good", as this is subjective so you need to make it clear to me what you need.

A.The best thing you can do is bring a mix of things. Something simple, something that doesn't take away from your wonderful face. Bring tops that are the same colour as your eyes, the right shade of blue or green can make all the difference. Grey's, navy's and teal's always work a treat, as do warmer, earthier tones. I also love chilled out vibes, so any open shirts and layers would be great! As well, please bring some rogue choices because I usually end up loving them.

A.My portraits are mainly dark and grungy, so anything dark will work a treat! Leathers, vests, and anything a bit rough will absolutely really work wonders.

A.Hair styling is just as vital as outfit choices so PLEASE have a think about this. Whether it's all back, or half back it can make such a difference in how you come cross on an image. Curly haired folks, I know it's hard-work keeping up with it (I say from experience), but as long as there's some frizz-taming product in there you will be good to go!

A.Keep it minimal. This is simply because it means I can edit your skin more effectively. Too much make-up is additive and retouching is reductive, a bit of a contradiction. Make-up changes your skin's texture too, which makes it difficult for me to see what your natural skin texture is. HOWEVER, please don't change who you are. If you love make-up and it makes you feel comfortable then please wear some.

A.It's best to shave the night before your session, not the morning of. This allows any inflammation to reduce and gives your skin a nice texture. Having, said that, it's completely fine to shave halfway through your session, so we can get a range of looks.

A.There is a 50% deposit due when you book in to secure your time slot. The rest is due on the day of your session. The deposit is non-refundable, and this is non-negotiable.

A.If you cancel the session, no matter how far in advance you will lose the deposit. I understand there are sometimes exceptional circumstances, but please do not ask about a deposit refund, as this keeps everything fair for everyone.

A.If you need to reschedule, and if there are any slots available then there is a £100 rescheduling fee, which will be due on the date you let me know you need to reschedule. This is non-negotiable. You must give at least 72 hours notice to reschedule otherwise your invoice will be due on the original date. No-shows will also be charged the full session fee.

A.I do not offer refunds. It is very very rare that people request a refund. Sometimes folks aren't happy with how their hair was on the day, or the clothing options they bring, and their agent tells them this and that they need new headshots. Although I always do my best to help and make things look great, I of course do not know you as a person nor do I know how your agent wants to market you, so you MUST make this clear to me beforehand and PREPARE for the session. I can not just make you "look good", as this is subjective so you need to make it clear to me what you need. With headshots you really get out of it what you put into it. As well, all edits/retouches are part of the package you book in and pay a deposit for, so I do not refund on editing time either.
